Jam’s Gym is the JAM!
Growing up, I was always super envious of the children in the neighborhood whose parent’s had lavished them with a personal playground in their backyard. I always stood in awe of why they weren’t on it CONSTANTLY. As I got older, I came to the realization that they were probably termite infested wood slats, and riddled with hornets nests. Nevertheless, my childhood dreams of having a sweet backyard getaway have always held a special place in my heart. This feeling was ignited again when I came across Jam’s Gym.
Jam’s Gym is a children’s free-standing rock climbing wall and it’s infinitely cooler than those old rotting sets of yonder years. Made out of plastic, it’s super lightweight, strong, and easy to move, clean, and set up. The best part? You can set up Jam’s Gyms outside AND inside. Imagine your kids being stuck inside for days on end with rainy weather….torture. Thankfully, you can hose and wipe down the Jam’s Gym and bring it inside for hours of entertainment.
Being on the other side of aging, having something to entertain kids for hours is a godsend. Movies, videogames, and television can only consume a kid’s brain for so long, and with the persistence of screens and the internet, the pull is more now than in any past generations. Jam’s Gym re-ignites that imagination in kids, creating stories, memories, and actually gets them physically moving! Jam’s Gym promotes individual problem solving through that creative play and enhances trunk strength, as well as fine motor skills.
Rock climbing is one of those activities that are alluring to kids, yet evasive because of the expensive specialty gyms you have to take them to. Jam’s Gym brings that adventurous and curious spirit home, and it’s safe! Although adult supervision is required, there are no harnesses or crazy height scares. At 6’ across and 5’ high, it’s the perfect height to ensure safety, yet entice the adventurer within.
Jam’s gym is awesome for home use, but I think it’s even better in group environments to share. Condos, apartments, hotels, gyms, and playgrounds can certainly benefit from this product, as the video shown clearly demonstrates. I love this product and think it will be a hit in communal and personal spaces. Honestly, I don’t know why anyone would spend well over your budget on a wooden playset that you can’t even move from the spot once you install it. Jam’s gym is easy to set up, and you can switch up the arm and foot holds! My childhood self would be elated and my adult self is too.
