Christmas is for the dogs (and cats!)
Let’s face it – even though the holidays are a time for family and friends, it’s the pets that deserve all the lavishing. At the end of a long hard work day, they are there to lift our spirits, and keep us company day after day, month after month. Why, then, should they be treated any different than other members of your family or friends circle? Although they cannot grasp the concept of a manmade holiday where you bring foliage inside for a month, they know when they are being treated as a good boy/girl.
Since my cat is turning me into a crazy cat lady with no children, I have had thoughts of getting her gifts for Christmas this year. Why? Because shes a GOOD KITTY, that’s why! Here are a few items I found that would make a great gift to show your pet how much you love and appreciate them.
DogKeeper
Dogkeeper is a ground tether – but better. It’s steel base can be placed in grass, sand and dirt. The top features a 360 degree swivel for full mobility. The top locks in just about any size leash that allows you to adjust the amount of leeway your pup gets. This is great for the owner who doesn’t have a fenced in yard. A lot of millennials utilize dog parks, but some dogs are oversized or dangerous. This keeps your pet secure and within eyeshot, without being restrictive in the least! For the quality, this is a great price.
Gotta Potty
Trying to train your dog to let you know when they want out to do their business? New puppy you’re getting your son or daughter? Gotta potty is the perfect gift to go along with that. Complete with a flat sensor that you place under your front mat, when they sit on it, a recording plays of YOUR VOICE. It then alerts you that your pupperoni needs to do his business. It’s a great tool for training and is especially unique in that they will recognize a clear and concise action to reaction, cutting the stress out. This was developed by a certified dog trainer, so you know it works!
Kitty Cot
My cat is constantly sitting on the window sill when I get home if I’ve left the window open. She loves the breeze and watching the cars and other wandering cats. I wish she had more room though. That’s when I started looking at the kitty cot perch. This device suction cups to the window with a wide enough area to lie down and enjoy the view. Available in 3 sizes, you can fold it upwards to close blinds or curtains. Easy to remove and re-attach to the window, I think I found a winner!
Week Away Tote Dog Bag
Everyone has that issue with having a pet. Travelling. Sometimes you can get someone to watch them or you put them in a kennel. Sometimes though, we have to take our furry friends along for the ride. The Week Away Tote Dog Bag comes complete with everything you would need on a long-ish trip. Comes complete with two carriers for treats and food, two bowls that are dishwasher safe, and the bag itself meets airline travelling requirements! Compartments keep everything from leashes, treats, and medications organized, not to mention an adjustable strap for carrying with ease while juggling your other luggage. A great find!
Are there any great pet products that you’ve come across? I’m still looking for ideas! 😀
