The Best Cleaning Products

I am what some might call a neat freak. I religiously clean my apartment top to bottom every Saturday like a widowed old lady. Call it healthy – call it an obsession – all I know is that I trust in a few products to ensure the cleanliness of my apartment is up to my intensely high standards. The trouble is finding the right products for the right situation. I researched some highly rated products that I want to try out myself!

Mr. Clean Eraser

I SWEAR by this product, and always will. With micro-fiber glass fragments inside the bleaching sponge, it scrapes away dirt on walls, shoes, and tubs like you will NOT believe! I highly endorse this product. I took these to some old shoes and they literally looked brand new. Try it yourself!

Disinfecting Wipes

I have literally about 8 of these at home. I use the to clean the kitchen nightly after making dinner and weekly to get dust off of surfaces in the living room, on the bookcase, and in the bathroom. The Clorox isn’t too strong of a chemical that it permeates the house/apartment, and it gets stubborn stains out of tables and countertops.

Disinfecting Wet Mopping Cloths

The most intensive and back-breaking chore of all – mopping the floors. I have that synthetic wood flooring all throughout the apartment and it tends to get dirty easily within a small area, because well, it’s a tiny apartment. Having a cat with hair, and trailing bits of litter means that I have to stay extra vigilant on this chore. It makes it so much easier with the wet cloths. Typically you can find off brand ones for much cheaper, but the real stuff is always the best. (Here I am sounding like a crack addict for cleaning supplies).

Goo Gone Original

This stuff is magic. Have a stubborn sticker that won’t come off? GOO GONE. Got goo that won’t be GONE?! GOO GONE! It’s a simple product for a simple use, but it’s been effective for years and years for a reason. If it’s not broke, why fix it?

Invisible Glass Cleaner

Ok, if you are a barbarian you can clean glass with the Clorox wipe in a pinch, but nothing compares to an actual glass cleaner. You may be thinking, it doesn’t really make a difference if my mirror isn’t pristine. I’m telling you, it makes a huge difference! Try it and never go back to the smudgy side.

What do you recommend? I’m trying to clean a stubborn tub ring this weekend (BIG plans, people) and I don’t think my arms can scrub it off with just magic erasers. I need some acid! Let me know in the comments below.
