I just moved into a new apartment a month ago. When I was busy going through all the things I needed for the move, I came across two products that made the efforts so much simpler. It was amazing how much time and money I ended up saving with these product hacks.

Ladder Pal

Moving means re-doing a space to make it your own. Whoever lived in the apartment previously had haphazardly applied dark blue paint to the living room walls. I immediately knew it had to go. My boyfriend works long hours, so I knew this task would be mine to command over the coming days.

When the weekend came, I placed my paint into the ladder pal device and used a simple step ladder to get the job done. It took me about half the time it would otherwise to get the work done. I could seal the top of the device to make sure the paint didn’t fall or spill, move my ladder, and continue. What a Godsend!

What was particularly attractive about this product was the ability to fit all my tools in one place. It holds your paint, brushes, scrapers, caulk, rags and even my coffee. The only adjustments I had to make were moving the ladder when I completed a section of the wall. Overall, I would say that I saved at LEAST 2 hours of work, and my boyfriend was quite impressed with the level of professionalism with which I got the job done.

Nature’s Distributing Stacking Planters

I’m a huge advocate of plants. I love them in the yard, in a vase, or pot. There’s something about having nature around you and bringing the outdoors inside that lift your spirits. I knew I wanted a lot of them, but I didn’t have much space to spare.

When I came across the Nature’s Distributing Stacking Planters, I was awestruck. Not only can these holders continuously stack until my heart’s content (well, within reason) but they can support a large variety of plants. Usually you have to find specific pots and planters depending if you’re dealing with vegetables, flowers, herbs, etc. With the stacking planters, it has a built-in self-watering system that takes the guessing out for you.

I bought 3 of the 5-tier planters and placed two indoors and one outside my front porch. Nothing gives life, color, and fresh air like vegetation. My apartment is relatively small, so space is very much limited and precious to us. Stacking planters were the perfect solution because we can always add more vertically!

Overall, I am very happy with the results. The pricing was perfect, and the completed look was just what I wanted. Moving is one of those things that causes a lot of stress and back pain, but with these two products, a significant amount of effort and time was reduced from making my space mine.
