Halloween Costume Season
It’s that time of year again when our personas go into an existential crisis and we start deliberating which character we want to transform into for the coveted, cult holiday of Halloween. Being an adult is a bit trickier when it comes to finding the right costume. I don’t want to halfheartedly put effort into my costume, especially when cosplayers usually put me to shame every year. Professional year-round Halloween-ers put forth so much money, time, and commitment, it truly blows my mind.
What really stuck out to me was the favoritism toward really good quality wigs. When you’re into Drag, Cosplay, or just a diehard Halloween fan, a bad wig can cheapen and ruin the illusion you’re trying to create. Years back, I attended a Halloween party dressed as Daneary’s Targarian from Game of Thrones, complete with gummy bear melted heart and all.
What I wish I had known then was how badly my wig would itch throughout the night. How do professionals deal with this?! If I have had my Weavescratcher then, like I do now, it would have been no problem. In my opinion, this product should be included with every wig (no matter the quality)!
